Dronetag Scout Stationary Remote ID Receiver

The Dronetag Scout is a high-performance Remote ID receiver designed to monitor and identify commercial drones by capturing their identification and flight telemetry data. With detection ranges of up to 10 km (6 miles) with omni antennas and 25 km (15 miles) with directional antennas, it is an ideal solution for airports, critical infrastructure, and secure facilities to increase situational awareness and make informed decisions. Multiple Scouts can be interconnected to expand coverage, allowing for comprehensive monitoring of entire cities and critical infrastructure.

Operating Modes

Scout supports four configurable operating modes, allowing seamless integration into various workflows and infrastructure types:

• Sensor Mode:  In this mode, the device works as a standalone Remote ID signal receiver and outputs raw detection data to your own infrastructure.
• Sensor Mode+:  Scout enriches the raw Remote ID output, identifying not just the manufacturer, but also the specific drone model based on the serial number.
• Cloud Mode:  Enables direct connection to the Dronetag Cloud platform (cloud service license sold separately).
• On-Premise Mode:  Designed for environments where data cannot leave the local network.
• Multi-platform App:  View real-time and historical drone detections in multiplatform web for iOS, Android and Web.

Antenna Options

In its baseline configuration, Scout is ready to deploy out of the box and provides reliable situational awareness by detecting all drones and modules broadcasting Remote ID over Bluetooth and Wi-Fi (2.4 and 5 GHz).

This setup can be expanded with directional antennas designed for improved performance in complex environments such as urban areas. Directional antennas have a 90° beamwidth and allow for more reliable long-range detection. Choose to add between one and four directional antennas, and connect multiple Dronetag devices, Scout and/or Rider, on Dronetag Cloud (cloud service license sold separately).

Advanced Drone & Pilot Detection

Multiple independent radios continuously receive Remote ID signals, enabling detection of drones, their pilots (or take-off position), and even identifying the drone’s manufacturer and model. This data equips you to take swift decisive action against potential threats, ensuring safety of your airspace.

Real-Time View & Data Logging

Monitor drone activities through the Dronetag App, available on Android, iOS, and web browser, or integrate seamlessly with third-party systems using our API. Historical data is stored for post-incident analysis, and users can set up geofencing alerts to be notified of unauthorized drones

Effortless Installation | Built to Last

Scout can be deployed at virtually any location using pole or wall mounting options, with support for PoE to simplify power and connectivity and optional 4G capability for added flexibility. As a passive receiver, it does not create interference with existing installations, and its rugged, IP67-rated aluminum enclosure with built-in heating ensures reliable performance even in harsh environmental conditions

Dectectd Drones

Dronetag Scout detects all Remote ID-equipped drones compliant with FAA, EASA, and MLIT standards. The system is designed to detect unauthorized drone activities, including unintentional breaches and low-sophistication criminal operations. Antenna Mounting Options

The Scout supports multiple antenna configurations depending on deployment needs. The required Multi-Antenna Pole Adapter are included or available as optional accessories based on the selected setup. The baseline setup (2x Omni) does not require additional mounting hardware.

4G/LTE Modem Upgrade

An internal hardware upgrade that adds a 4G/LTE modem to the Baseline Configuration of Scout is available and sold separately. This enables direct mobile network connectivity for data transmission without relying on local Wi-Fi or Ethernet
