The UAVTek Bug is compact, lightweight and visually discrete. Capable of being deployed for missions of up to 20 minutes, with a removable battery that can be swapped in seconds to enable to the user to get airborne again quickly. It is able to reach speeds of up to 80kph (22m/s), with a transmission distance of 3km+ (5.8Ghz).
Launching swiftly from an operator’s hand, or a moving vehicle, the Bug delivers intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) capabilities. Footage can be broadcast securely to multiple locations, allowing users to view the live feed from anywhere in the world.
Offering intelligent return-to-launch mode, autonomous mission capability or manual flight, the Bug is ideal for use in GPS-denied environments. The Bug also performs dead reckoning in GPS denied mode to perform a Return Launch (RTL) function. Featuring an AES 256 secure encrypted wireless link to provide protection in the field.
The UAVTek Bug 4.2 is available in two versions:
