The UAVTek Horus 1.0 is designed and built to be agile, lightweight, robust, and modular. With interchangeable arms the Horus can be deployed for non-stop flight missions of up to 29 minutes. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 80 kph, with a transmission distance of 7km (5.8Ghz), the Horus offers unrivalled capability for its flight class. With a low visual and audible signature, the Horus can successfully complete covert surveillance or reconnaissance.
With the ability to launch quickly from either static or mobile platforms, the Horus can provide visual surveillance/situational awareness during day or night using digital imagery and video. Footage can be broadcast securely to multiple locations, allowing users to view the live feed from anywhere in the world. Designed to carry custom payloads which can be adapted for individual customer requirements.
The Horus is capable of operating in the most challenging environments including in winds gusting up to 45kts. Designed to operate in GNSS or denied environments, it also features intelligent return to launch mode and offers autonomous mission capability or the option to fly manually. Using a secure wireless link to provide protection in the field the Horus can be quickly adapted to use the cellular network or MANET radio modules, which can be highly effective in urban environments or increasing range.
