Powerful 800V High-Voltage System for Greater Efficiency
The TK4 Tethered Power System utilizes an advanced 800V high-voltage design to significantly reduce power loss. Compared to a 400V system, it operates at half the current while reducing cable heat to just one quarter. The airborne unit provides a stable 50V output with a rated power of 4 kW, ensuring consistent, reliable performance for the DJI Matrice 400 and its payloads.
Stable, Interference-Resistant Video Transmission
The system uses power line carrier (PLC) communication between the ground station and airborne unit, supporting bandwidth up to 100 Mbps. This easily handles high-frame-rate, high-bitrate 4K video transmission. Video can be output from the ground station via HDMI or Ethernet directly to a command center. Designed for strong resistance to radio-frequency interference, the TK4 maintains a stable and dependable connection in demanding environments.
Extended Cable Length for Higher Flight Operations
The TK4 includes a standard 110-meter tether cable, with optional configurations up to 200 meters. This extended reach allows the drone to operate at higher altitudes, making it ideal for long-duration aerial monitoring and expanded coverage.
Enhanced Support for High-Power Lighting
An upgraded lighting power output delivers up to 1500W, allowing the TK4 to support demanding illumination setups. It can simultaneously support an 800W CZI ML200 and a 300W CZI GL300, providing strong, reliable lighting for nighttime or low-visibility operations.
Integrated Grounding Protection for Safer Operation
When working near high-voltage power lines, induced voltage can pose a safety risk. The TK4 includes a grounding rod to safely discharge excess current into the ground, helping reduce the risk of electric shock. The system features a standard grounding interface, allowing flexibility to use different rod lengths depending on terrain and site conditions.
Built-In Wireless Connectivity for Easy Control
With integrated Bluetooth and Wi-Fi modules, the TK4 allows users to connect directly to the ground station using a smartphone. This enables convenient, wireless system monitoring and control from a mobile device.
