Freefly LR1 Laser Range Finder Upgrade

The Freefly LR1 Laser Range Finder Upgrade adds convenient distance measurement capability to the LR1 Payload on Freefly Astro. The user-installable module attaches directly to the LR1 Payload with four screws and connects through the expansion port. A dedicated counterweight and installation hardware are included.

Once installed, the distance is displayed as a live readout in AMC. The distance measurement is also saved in the image metadata when a photo is captured. With a range of up to 328 ft. at 70% reflectivity, the module provides distance information for objects such as buildings and other structures.

*Use of auxiliary modules on the LR1 Payload will require specific counterweights. LR1 Laser Range Finder Upgrade and LR1 Thermal Upgrade can be used together with LR1 Payload and the larger counterweight plate included with the Thermal Upgrade.
