Description

YellowScan® Surveyor Ultra & Single Camera Module 61MP | Lightweight 360° LiDAR System for UAV Integration

With its 360° field of view, the YellowScan Surveyor Ultra marks a new generation of YellowScan LiDAR systems integrating SBG Systems’ IMU, combined with an integrated RGB camera for colorization purposes.  Add the Sony Full-Frame CMOS image sensor to produce combined high-precision 61MP images. Combining light weight, high density, and featuring 32 beams with up to 3 echoes, the Surveyor Ultra can tackle any survey, from mobile mapping to dense vegetation penetration.

Key Features:

  • 360° Surveying & Mapping
  • High Point Density
  • Maximized Range
  • Easy to Use and Process
  • Safe Operational Range
  • Technology Inside:  SBG Systems Quanta Micro / Hesai XT32M2X
  • Collect LiDAR and RGB data in a single flight

61 MP Single Camera Module

  • Sony Full-Frame CMOS sensor (36 x 24mm)
    • 18 mm Focal Length
    • Global Shutter
    • Field of View: 90°
    • 235 g

  • Micro-SD Card for Data Storage
  • Easy to use

Easy Integration into UAV Platforms

The Surveyor Ultra can be used on multirotor, fixed-wing VTOL and helicopter UAVs. This flexibility is an asset when there are a great diversity of missions, sizes, and reliefs. Fixed-wing VTOL for big areas to survey, multirotor for small areas or vertical sections. When it comes to drones, the “quick release” attachment allows for easy mounting on a wide range of drones. Two options: Gremsy or Skyport, which can be interchanged depending on the drone.

360° Field of View | Vertical Mapping-Ready

The Surveyor Ultra allows for the collection of LiDAR data not only from the ground, but for verticals as well. It is the best option for vertical inspection applications such as  buildings, bridges, coastal erosion, cliffs, and mountains.

Turn-Key | Simple to Operate & Self-Powered

As with all YellowScan LiDAR systems, the Surveyor Ultra follows the “Just Press the Yellow Button” philosophy. It is designed for 3D modeling under vegetation and fast data processing.

Embedded Camera

The Surveyor Ultra now has an embedded camera (global shutter) that can be used for colorization purposes.

YellowScan® - Designed to Innovate

Applications

Mining: Challenging working conditions and the need for precise elevation data in open pit mines make UAV LiDAR solutions the latest go-to surveying tool around the world

Civil Engineering: From the initial planning stages to the final project delivery, LiDAR systems are an asset to the construction industry.

Energy & Utilities: Reduce risks and costs in energy and utilities management.

Corridor Mapping: Mapping the vegetation around powerlines is a major issue for most energy companies, along with mapping of the powerline itself to detect any issues
such as line sagging, damage to cables and to structures.

Forestry: Whether it is a commercial or governmental activity, forest management requires detailed data to make proper decisions.

Archeology: LiDAR technology has changed the face of archeology by making it possible to measure and map detailed landscapes that would otherwise remain hidden under centuries of vegetation.

Environmental Research: This technology has revolutionized conservation and environmental research by providing useful information, as 3D pointclouds, in the quest to save forests, animals, and humans.

Media & Entertainment: Turn real-life objects into digital twins. LiDAR is becoming increasingly popular for creating special effects and realistic digital imagery.

Explore a world of possibilities using YellowScan® LiDAR solutions.
